Teacher/Interpreter and Administrator My work as an administrator involves working effectively with the senior management team and with fellow teachers to ensure that school activities run efficiently. My work also involves speaking to parents by telephone or face to face, preparing documents and dealing with suppliers of school materials (ordering and ensuring delivery of goods). I work with international teachers, teaching both Ukrainian and International students aged between 4 and 9 years old. I regularly prepare and collate homework for the children. This involves making good use of the resources within the school and checking work after it has been done. My teacher/ interpreter role involves teaching students both English and Russian language. I prepare and mark student work in Mathematics, Science, English, Russian, Geography and History. I keep records, which I continually update, of all students’ progress. I teach the students IT and I advise and guide other teachers on using IT for both administrative and educational work. I act as an interpreter when parents come to the school to be informed about their child’s academic progress. I organise work effectively.
